Rokudo Mukuro, sometimes Mist Guardian of the Vongola Family. Literally been to Hell and back at least six times. | KILL SELF. PASS GO. COLLECT BODY. One’s first impression of Mukuro will, more often than not, be favorable: if his clean looks aren’t enough, there’s the fact that he’s probably the smoothest motherfucker in town. From the languid, indolent way that he carries himself to the fact that he just knows exactly what to say in any situation, Mukuro most definitely possesses a very magnetic personality, the kind that most may find themselves invariably drawn to no matter what. The fact that he KNOWS this very well often works to his advantage, and to the detriment of those who try to associate with them. Mukuro was a lot rougher in the past, and fueled purely by his resentment for the mafia game and everything it has come to represent in his world… he hopes to destabilize the whole institution, if not become responsible for its complete destruction. Furthermore, the experiments that were done upon his person injected a great amount of power and knowledge into his brain that he had been unable to handle when he was younger, leaving him with little else but his rage and the remembrance of a whole lot of pain. The years, however, have given Mukuro time to sort through what was given to him, giving him a very odd sense of clarity when it came to himself and to the world he walks on. It may be safe to view his state of mind as something like a darker reflection of the Nirvana that most Buddhists ascribe to: an informed detachment from the world that knows no compassion and no pity, only the gift of foresight and a whole lot of wry amusement. All in all, Mukuro is a narcissist, and a creature of instinct: he has a goal in mind, and it colors every move that he makes, but he plans to amuse himself each and every step of the way. He’s fickle, he’s cruel, he’s arrogant, and he doesn’t care a whiff what you think of him, nor will he hesitate to remove you if you try to stand in his way. | ||
